NORLYZ – ORGAN SYMPHONY
Organ Symphony macht die vielfältige Klangpalette von NORLYZ hörbar. Das Stück basiert auf einer Improvisation an einem alten Harmonium, das Paul auf einer Wanderung hoch oben in den Schweizer Alpen zufällig in einer alten Kapelle fand. Getragen vom Klang der kleinen Orgel beginnt das Instrumentalstück mit einer Improvisation zwischen Cello und Bassklarinette. Nach kurzer Schwerelosigkeit im Mittelteil nimmt das Stück endgültig an Fahrt auf und entwickelt sich über 11 Minuten zu einem bis ins feinste Detail ausproduzierten, kraftvoll mitreißenden Club-Track samt ekstatischem Klimax. Organ Symphony erscheint zusammen mit einem André Lodemann Remix bei Best Works Records. Es ist die dritte und letzte Single des am 18. November 2022 erscheinenden Debutalbums „First Dawn on Planet B.“.

ORGAN SYMPHONY is based on an improvisation on an old harmonium that Paul found by chance in an ancient chapel while hiking high up in the Swiss Alps. Carried by the windy sound of the small organ, the instrumental piece begins with an improvisation between cello and bass clarinet. After a weightless transition part, the piece finally picks up speed and develops over 11 minutes into a powerfully rousing club track!
The production of the piece startet a few years back in the era when this project was still called „Schattenspiel“. It developed in various stages, you hear multiple musicians and instruments incl. field records from arctic circle area in northern Sweden. But it never got the finishing touch to it until the full NORLYZ instrument section was added in the last year!
