The English pianist Alexis Ffrench has made it his mission to break the prejudices against classical music and to make them accessible to the mainstream. That’s why he compresses his pieces into easily digestible, three-minute tracks and is inspired by „Kendrick Lamar“ to „Bach“. His plan seems to be working: With over 90 million streams on Spotify, he ranks among composers like „Ludovico Einaudi“ and „Michael Nyman“, who are currently redefining the piano genre. In spring he tours Europe with his new album „Dreamland“ and stops at Kaufleuten on April 20th to enchant us with his soundscapes for one evening.
