WITH HER DEBUT ALBUM „MOMENTS“ FOR THE FIRST TIME IN KOFMEHL

Hollow Coves is the project of Australians Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins. The two got to know each other in 2013 through mutual friends and quickly found that they shared a taste for traveling around the world and for acoustic music. Suddenly they started to write songs, without guidelines and without any expectations of where it would lead, out of sheer joy in music and sound. From this grew a dynamic folk band in a short time, who loves to travel, experiences new areas and incorporates a lot of what she hears and experiences into her music.

Henderson and Carins were originally from Brisbane, but developed their songs in different corners of the world. They sent their ideas around the networked globe and worked with their good friend and producer Hayden Smith on the Internet. No wonder that the debut EP from 2017 was given the very fitting title „Wanderlust“: Their first published song „The Woods“ was created when one was snowboarding in Canada while the other was traveling across Europe. The song went straight to the top of the hype machines and charts and was streamed millions of times.

Influenced by artists such as Angus & Julia Stone, Ben Howard or The Paper Kites, Hollow Coves have long since found their own dynamic style in indie folk with earthy sounds, flying melodies and great complementary vocal harmony. Now Hollow Coves are coming to Kofmehl Solothurn for the first time with their debut album “Moments”!
