After being demolished in the sold out complex 457 three years ago, ScHoolboy Q has made itself rare. But now he’s back and has a new album with „CrasH Talk“ at the start. The fact that he took his time for this can be seen in every pore of the new work. Hardly anyone can pack their arrogant aura into clever rhymes as well as they do. ScHoolboy Q raps cars, drugs and guns. But it never gets boring, because Q’s rhymes are tricky. His sound is carried by dry samples and harsh trap beats interspersed with whine and boom. Both come together on the album, the link remains Q’s nonchalance. He does it on songs like „Gang Gang“ through his seemingly bored way, the exaggerated hype and the beat held together by whipping hi-hats and a minimalist synth loop sound like the loneliest rapper on the planet. Even if Q tells you about a horse, it always sounds like he’s reporting something out of the ordinary. Luckily, we will finally be able to experience this live again soon, on Friday, February 7, when ScHoolboy Q makes a tour stop at the Samsung Hall in Zurich.

Note: Arrival by public transport is recommended. The Samsung Hall is located right next to the Stettbach train station (8 minutes from Zurich main station, S3 / S9 / S12).

You can get the reduced ticket at  sbb.ch/samsunghall  or at theticket office. It is only valid together with the admission ticket for the corresponding event in the Samsung Hall.
