SENSU (CH) & TOMPAUL (CH)
Sensu is used to swimming against the tide: As a teenager, she was active as a beatmaker in the Swiss hip-hop scene, which is predominantly male-dominated. In the meantime, Jasmin Peterhans, as the real name is from Baden, has arrived in her mid-twenties, which does not mean that she has now adapted to the mainstream. Now Sensu presents their long awaited first album with Embrace (Universal Music). This 12 song debut is infected with incredible warmth that outshines everything. As a passionate globetrotter, the musician and producer incorporates a wide variety of styles and sounds, creating a bewitching conglomerate of bass music and trendy electronica.
TOMPAUL are rightly regarded as the Swiss hope for electronic pop music and have made a name for themselves with excellent releases and emotionally charged live performances across national borders. TOMPAUL are masters in creating very specific moods: a peculiarly euphoric melancholy sneaks through their productions. Native to the dance floor, but without the dogma of commanding dance, the Baden-based trio of producers / musicians is working on setting the music for those late hours of the night when peak moments are replaced by more sentimental feelings; Remnants of the night, scraps of early morning.
